I attended the Flag Day ceremony in New Toronto this morning. Our flag was raised, a band played O Canada, and a member of the Lake Shore BIA and our MP James Maloney made great speeches before everyone enjoyed cake courtesy of San Remo Bakery.
It hit different. Perhaps I should thank Trump for uniting this country. O Canada!
