The summer of 2024 I started kayaking in Toronto. I received a kayak for my 50th and have been kayaking Lake Ontario and the Humber River. Here's a play by play of how it all happens.
My kayak folds up and goes in a backpack that I wear on my bike while I bike to the water. I know that sounds wild, but it's 100% true. Here I am at the lake with my kayak on my back.
Then, I unfold and assemble the kayak on the beach. It takes me about 5 minutes. Once assembled, I put it in the water and hop in.
Then, I paddle. I typically travel 5-10km. Today was a perfect day to paddle Lake Ontario in Toronto.
