In February 2022, FLOW 93.5 was replaced with 93.5 TODAY Radio. This was pretty significant, as FLOW launched 21 years prior with a promise to play "Roots, Rock and Reggae" before eventually morphing into a rhythmic top 40 station.
TODAY was a format that worked out west and from what I heard it was similar to the old "we play what we want" JACK format where you might hear a Taylor Swift song next to new country next to TLC next to Bryan Adams next to Guns N' Roses.
An unprogrammable ipod, as Alan Cross would say. And in between songs there was much talk about this and that with alleged listeners calling in. I'm actually surprised it lasted 2.5 years in this competitive market.
As to what's next, my guess is it's a format already in the Stingray radio family. Welcome to New Country 93.5.
