For my milestone birthday last week, FOTMs surprised me at TMLX15 with an Oru Inlet Kayak. This kayak folds up so you can put in a custom Oru backpack. Even the paddle breaks into four parts so you can slip it into the backpack pocket. It's amazing.
This afternoon I literally put the kayak on my back, grabbed my PFD and biked to the lake for a short paddle. It was awesome. Then, after a wavy 3+ km trip on Lake Ontario I folded the kayak up, put it in the backpack and biked it home. I still can't believe how slick it all is.
I can't wait to get back out there, so weather permitting, I'll be kayaking tomorrow evening.
