Gordon Lightfoot was the singer-songwriter best known for "For Lovin' Me", "Early Morning Rain", "Steel Rail Blues", "Ribbon of Darkness", "Black Day in July", "(Remember Me) I'm the One", "If You Could Read My Mind", "Sundown"; "Carefree Highway", "Rainy Day People", and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" and so many other hits. He was one of Canada's all-time greatest songwriters.
