Last night, I recorded the premiere episode of a new Toronto Mike'd sub-series called The Progressive Past of Modern Melodies. I was joined by Brother Bill, Cam Gordon and Ivar Hamilton, and Ivar dropped quite the mind blow about the English electronic music duo Utah Saints and our 1992 World Series champion Toronto Blue Jays.
An amazing night to be in Toronto - the whole city was a big party. Everyone was going the same direction and music slotted right in. That’s when we sampled the @BlueJays song&made a track in an hour for our set. Music was def developing &you all played a big part, thank you :)

According to Ivar, the Utah Saints were in Toronto the night the Blue Jays won the 1992 World Series and recorded crowd noise as we spilled into the streets in celebration. These crowd noises made it onto a future Utah Saints recording.
Now that's Something Good.
