Hugh Burrill's last day on The Fan 590's morning show is this Friday. He's leaving to pursue a communications role at Sporting Life Canada / Golf Town.

This is my last week at @FAN590 After a wonderful life in broadcasting, I've decided to start a new career as Communications Manager at Sporting Life Canada @GolfTown . I'm so excited to begin the next chapter!
Hugh has spent many years at Rogers, working at CityTV, on Sportsnet and on the air on The Fan 590. You can hear more about his career in episode 240 of Toronto Mike'd.
This continues the trend of sports media personalities leaving the industry. Barry Davis, Howard Berger, Mike Toth, Scott Ferguson and Norman Rumack are others that come to mind.
