Lake Shore Boulevard is closed this Victoria Day long weekend between Windermere Avenue and Stadium Road. I took this opportunity to cycle the street both yesterday and today and it was awesome.
The Martin Goodman Trial is pretty busy now that the weather has improved, and closing Lake Shore Blvd to cars lets families go for a ride with plenty of space. But I'm of the opinion this is a great idea beyond the COVID-19 social distancing order. I'd like to see this every weekend throughout the summer.
The weather for cycling was great this weekend but it looks like rain is in the forecast all day tomorrow. That'll dampen this ActiveTO initiative. But we all know what Meat Loaf says...
