My final stop of my recent vacation was Reykjavík, Iceland. The original plan was to experience the geothermal pools but my wife's OB/GYN advised her against it, so we took a day to walk the city and watch the locals instead.
Reykjavík is charming, and reminded me of a Canadian town with Scandinavian architecture. There wasn't a whole lot to see compared to Italy, but it was a great visit to this volcanic beauty on the southern shore of the Faxaflói Bay.
