I just had one of those 9/11 conspiracy documentaries playing in the background while I worked. It mentions National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice's statement that "No one could have predicted that they would try to use an airplane as a missile.".
That reminded me of The Lone Gunmen's pilot. The Lone Gunmen was an X-Files spinoff. I was a big X-Files fan, and gave The Lone Gunmen a shot. They didn't have it, but they did have this scene that originally aired on March 4, 2001.
If you're too busy to watch that, I'll summarize it for you. It involves a plot by the US government to crash a plane into the World Trade Center and blame it on an unnamed dictator in order to start a fake war.
Clearly, Condoleezza Rice was wrong. Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad, predicted 9/11.
