Earlier in the month, I wrote about Dana in Seattle who was selling a glove I loved throughout the 90s. He (or she) wanted $150 USD + shipping for the glove, a price I thought was grossly inflated and likely inspired by this entry I wrote previously.
Dana wrote me again. Apparently, the listing on Craigslist didn't get any action at $150. It's now down to $35.
Sure, I'd like the glove, but I'm still ticked Seattle Dana offered it to me at such a high price once it was discovered that glove had nostalgic value to me. If Seattle Dana had started at $35 USD + shipping, we'd have likely struck a deal then and there. Instead, Seattle Dana went for the kill and I've gone cold.
I've always got the memories...
