It didn't take the Leafs long to fall behind 2-0, and then I had to go to my own game. It sounds like a missed a great little comeback with a pair of goals from Phil "The Thrill" Kessel and everybody's favourite Hagman.
Don't look now, but we're 3-0-1 in our last four games. And since we started at 0-7-1, we're a very respectable 6-4-6. If the season had started 16 games ago, we'd be in great shape.
I'll conclude this Leafs recap by calling out the idiot schedule makers at the NHL head office. It's Saturday. Saturday nights mean Hockey Night in Canada and Hockey Night in Canada means the Leafs at 7pm on CBC. This is a ritual you can't fuck with. Why, NHL head office, have you fucked with it?
A Leaf-less Saturday night in November just doesn't make sense...
