I've got a radio in my shower and this morning it was tuned to 102.1. At about 7:40am or so, I heard a familiar voice. Freddie P was in the studio, chatting with the crew that took over after Humble & Fred left CFNY for Mojo.
Freddie P was in the building because he was scheduled to appear with John Derringer on Q107, but Dean Blundell showed some class by letting Fred be heard on 102.1 for the first time since the spring of 2001. It was great hearing his voice again, I'm just sorry it was only for a few minutes and that it wasn't accompanied by another dude.
Sometimes the shower can act like a time machine.
