Fellow parents of young children likely have apple juice in stock. We buy it in bulk because milk and apple juice are the two beverages of choice in my house. There's always apple juice in the refrigerator, but I never drink the stuff. To be precise, I usually don't drink the stuff, but this past weekend I had my first sip in years.
I was thirsty, it was cold and wet, so I had a small glass. After one sip I was done. The taste of apple juice will forever be the taste of sick as far as I'm concerned.
As a kid, I must have been served apple juice when sick, because even the smell of the stuff reminds me of illness. I won't be back for more, unless I'm feverish.
