Who the hell needs a Stanley Cup when we could have Nik Antropov instead? The Maple Leafs have reached agreement with Antropov on a two-year contract extension.
Clearly Leafs management had a decision to make. Do we try and build a team capable of winning it all or do we keep re-signing the same mediocre players over and over and over again? We've made our choice, and now we have our favourite whipping boy for another couple of seasons.
Luckily he'll be spending most of that time on the DL.
