James and I watched that hit on Tomas Kaberle and while I was envisioning our playoff aspirations disappearing before our eyes, he felt the need to clarify something. He looked at me and reminded me "they're not bad grown ups, they just play for a bad team".
I disagreed with my five year old son. Cam Janssen's hit was definitely late, it looked like he left his feet and likely clipped Kaberle with an elbow. Our best defenseman is now day-to-day with a neck injury and there wasn't even a penalty called on the play. Cam Janssen was a bad grown up.
Carlo Colaiacovo, Nik Antropov and Matt Stajan scored in a span of 2:51 midway through the third period for Toronto as we overcame a 2-0 deficit for two badly needed points. We're only two points out of 8th in the conference.
