Anyone is welcome to submit a Guest Blog Entry to torontomike.com. I received the following entry earlier today.
The 1st night in 7 with no baseball but watchin' the skies. A tornado watch here in Caledon earlier this afternoon - power has been off 2-3 times in since 6:00pm. The same day as the anniversary as the Barrie tornado - 21 years ago today.
It's eerie outside now - weird clouds & raining hard. Hope not a reflection of the past & things to come!

I heard things are worse in your neck of the woods. Our game was in Mississauga but close to the Etobicoke border. The pictures I took were taken in Woodbridge this afternoon.
It's hard to believe the Barrie tornado was twenty-one years ago. I remember it well because my grandparents lived in the area. Here's a good CBC recap broadcast on June 3, 1985. Eight killed, 155 injured, 300 homes destroyed and $100 million in damage. Let's hope we don't get a repeat performance tonight.
