#10 from my list - July 21/05. The day the music died. John & Paul - best songwriters ever. That day everyone realized a reunion of the Beatles could never happen. Reading articles this past while the reunion WOULD have happened as John said "time heals wounds & WE are older now". He was the last Beatle to compromise & with his release of Double Fantasy at this time he didn't say no.

He was only 40 and still full of creative brilliance. It's safe to assume that we'd have more great music today had Mark Chapman ignored the voices in his head. It's a damn shame.
