Hey Mike, glad that you are nothing like Mike Jackson or Mike Tyson (yuck, yuck)! Anyway, will you be going to see the Live 8 in Barrie? I don't have any idea who is going to perform so you can keep me updated. If purely Canadian content, I'll tell you who I would like to see: Rush, Our Lady Peace, Barenaked Ladies, Nickelback, Bryan Adams, Shania Twain, Terri Clark, Big Sugar (although they split up, it would be great just to see Gordie Johnson play guitar), Jesse Cook, Natalie McMaster, The Tragically Hip, Jeff Healey, Lisa Brokop, Chantal Kreviazuk, Jann Arden, The Arrogant Worms, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, David Usher, Finger Eleven....these are about the ones I can think of right now. Your list?

Whether I should try and score tickts to Live 8 was a subject of much debate in my head this week. It's my favourite venue and a few of my favourite bands will be there including this one but how many songs would they be able to perform and how much Celine Dion fluff would I have to endure in the blazing sun for an entire day? Still, I woke up yesterday deciding that I should go...before changing my mind at the last second because I can't really afford to give up that entire Saturday.
