On April 14, I set out to test Google's video upload program. I uploaded Custom's "USA" video to see if Google would bother finding out if I had permission from the copyright holder to share it. In this instance I actually had permission from the artist to do this, but Google didn't know that.
Custom's "USA" video is now being shared in Google Videos. It couldn't have been easier. This got me wondering what would happen if people started uploading movies. Would Google be on the ball policing such behaviour? Based on this example, it seems somebody is already giving it a go. This could get interesting...
