It truly is an honour finding my name on the Blogebrity list. You'll find me and a link to this site in the "C-List" column.
C-List?!?! The A-List has guys like Zach Braff and Wil Wheaton, so I'm thinking I'm at least a B-List blogger, at least in Canada, right? I suppose there's a comfort in being C-List.
Periodically I get emails from people wondering where I find the time to maintain this blog or why I bother to have one at all. The fact of the matter is, I would maintain this thing even if it was offline. For me, it's an awesome record of events, thoughts, links, pictures, analysis and a convenient snap shot of each day of my life. Even if nobody else visited these pages, I'd consider this personal project to be invaluable. Frequently I'm hitting the archives to learn specific details of a certain event, the date this happened and my feelings about something or other at the time.
Prior to the start of this blog in November 2002, the home page of this site was a quadrant of four blog-like updates that weren't archived anywhere. These thoughts, observations and digital scraps were deleted and have long since been forgotten. I regret I didn't adopt this format sooner.
There's no shame in being a C-List Blogebrity when your target audience is yourself.
