I hate reading stories like this. According to the Toronto Star, the CFL is discussing the concept of selling the naming rights to the Grey Cup. Our sacred Grey Cup, apparently, is for sale.
I'll be outraged if it becomes the Molson Grey Cup, Tim Hortons Grey Cup or RBC Grey Cup. It's vital that it remain The Grey Cup plain and simple. I don't even like the idea of The Grey Cup being presented by a conglomerate, although that's an easier pill to swallow.
Everything, it seems, has a price including Lord Earl Grey's 1909 rugby trophy. That sucks.
