U2's "All Because Of You" and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Maps" have very little in common. One bores me to tears and the other is one of my favourite tracks from 2004. "Maps" has more soul in one 3 second sample than "All Because Of You" has throughout. Unfortunately, there is a brief moment at the very beginning where I'm unsure whether I'm in for a treat or whether I'll have to turn the station.
The first few seconds of "All Because Of You" are eerily similar to the opening seconds of "Maps". Every day I hear this U2 single on CFNY Edge 102 and every time I think it's going to be "Maps". I'm frequently disappointed these days.
