The St. John's Maple Leafs handed the Grand Rapids Griffins their first road loss of the season last night. Rookie Matt Hubbauer of "Making the Cut" fame scored the winner midway through the third period.
The Leafs have now won eight straight home games and are 13-3 over their last 16 games.
