James doesn't bathe alone. Joining him in his nightly bath are four ducks, four frogs, four dinosaurs a boat and two identical rubber Bob the Builder and Muck toys.
They all get in before he does and they all go back in the bin before he gets out. When dropping them into the bin beside the tub, he says goodnight to each individually, addressing them by name and colour. "Goodnight blue dinosaur, goodnight purple dinosaur, goodnight yellow ducky, etc..."
It's awfully cute.
