I received a nice email from Kevin Shea regarding our mutual interest in Bill Barilko and The Tragically Hip.
Kevin Shea has written "Barilko - Without a Trace", a book about the legend of Bashin' Bill Barilko "from his childhood in Timmins to his days playing for the Hollywood Wolves of the Pacific Coast Hockey League prior to suiting up for five seasons with the Leafs". Even cooler, Shea's book has been sold to producer George Mendeluk and will be made into a movie. Sure, I mentioned this back in October, but that was before I heard from the author himself so I'm mentioning it again.
If you don't know who the heck this Bill Barilko character is, educate yourself. If you're Canadian and don't know who he is, educate yourself and be ashamed. Very ashamed.
