I've never heard a doctor suggest there's little value in getting a flu shot. In fact, every doctor I've ever spoken to about it or heard speak on the subject has extolled the benefits of the flu shot. When James came down with pneumonia last year, we were all but ordered to get him the flu shot every autumn. I got mine last month.
A Decima Reseach poll shows that two out of three Canadians didn't get their flu shot this year. In fact, a whopping 28% don't believe it's worthwhile. That means 28% of Canadians behold more medical knowledge and insight than every doctor in the land. This is indeed a nation of geniuses.
