Rumours are circulating that U.S.-based Target Corp. is in advanced talks to buy part or all of Hudson's Bay Co. If this transpires, our 334-year old Hudson's Bay Company will be owned by an American company. Is nothing ours anymore? Eatons went under in '99, Molson is merging with Coors, Future Shop is owned by Best Buy and now the Bay may be owned by Target.
