This morning I was cruising the dial of my Freeplay Ranger when I stumbled upon Wham's "Careless Whisper". I was immediately flooded with a ton of memories.
As pathetic as it sounds, Wham was a big part of music when I was an impressionable pre-teen. I owned Make It Big on cassette which contained the sappy ballad "Careless Whisper". In grade school, we began having class dances in grade five. No grade school dance was complete without the airing of "Careless Whisper". I hadn't heard that song in years prior to hearing it this morning, but when the first note pierced my ear I was once again a nervous twelve year old at the grade six dance.
We could have been so good together...
