Kodak has announced plans to stop selling traditional film cameras in North America and Europe. It's digital only from here on for the world's biggest photography company.
This is a bold move for Kodak, but a necessary one if they're to compete with Canon, Dell and Hewlett Packard who have already made the switch to digital products only. The world is going digital my friends. Traditional film cameras are quickly going the way of the phonograph. I've been working on digitizing as much of my life as possible, and as soon as I have the funds, I'll be snapping pictures with a digital camera instead of scanning prints from our film camera.
