Tupac Shakur is the hardest working man in show business. The man has been prolific, releasing nine albums over the past seven years and starring in the major motion picture "Tupac: Resurrection" which is being released this week. This is an impressive resume for a man who was gunned down and killed in Las Vegas in 1996.
More Tupac albums have been released since his death than were released while he was alive. He raked in $12 million from June 2002 to June 2003. "Rap Phenomenon," an unauthorized mix tape of Shakur's work, was extremely popular amongst hip-hop fans this fall. He has a hit song, "Running (Dying to Live)," produced by Eminem, on the radio. The man is the busiest dead man of all time.
I've always been a fan, ever since he guest rapped his way onto "Same Song" from Digital Underground back in '90. I have a Tupac folder on my PC with my favourite Tupac tunes I play on a regular basis. I hope the 7 Day Theory proves to be true. Tupac go ahead rock.
