Taryn's musical tastes are changing. This hasn't happened overnight, but gradually over the past few years.
When we first met, we listened to the same CDs together, over and over and over again. The Offspring's Smash, Greenday's Dookie, The Smashing Pumpkin's Siamese Dream and Pearl Jam's Ten were a few of our mutual favourites.
Now, it's not uncommon for me to start the car after she's used it and hear Rod Stewart or The Dixie Chicks blasting through the speakers. I can't hit the stop button fast enough. I sometimes wonder if our car had been stolen and taken for a joy ride by a rowdy gang of geriatrics. What's happened to the girl I married? Our musical tastes have never been so different.
