After scoring two early goals the Maple Leafs held on for an important two points on the road. This victory last night coupled with a big playoff win for the Argos salvaged what could have been a horrific sports weekend for Toronto.
Mikael Tellqvist played another great game but is expected to be sent to St. John's when Trever Kidd returns from a shoulder injury later this week. From a fan's perspective, I'd much rather keep Tellqvist as Eddie Belfour's backup in preparation for the day he assumes full time duties. He's clearly capable and youth will be served.
