I fondly recall a time when having four new messages in my inbox meant receiving four pieces of communiqué I actually wanted. I don't think I've experienced this sensation since the '90s. My personal email address has become a target for unwanted solicitation for everything from fake diplomas to penile enlargements and everything in between.
I have only myself to blame. I had links to my email address on the bottom of every page of this site and again on the Contact Mike page. Spammers use e-mail harvesting software to scour the web looking for email addys. In an effort to fight this war against spam, I have removed my email address from this site. You'll still find my email address on the Contact Mike page, but it's an image and not text. Spammers won't be the wiser.
