I was invited to participate in the Chevrolet Impala Drive Event this week. I've already written about the golf and the whiskey tasting, and I'll soon write about my tour of the GM plant in Oshawa, but this entry is about the 2014 Chevrolet Impala we drove from Oshawa to Fenelon Falls and back.
When I think Impala, I think cop car. Now that I've spent some time with the new Impala, I think it's a sexier version of the new Ford Taurus.
It looks great, drives silently and wonderfully and has the roomiest trunk I've ever seen. I could fit at least three hockey bags in here.
The standard Impala's MSRP is $28,445. The version I drove had MyLink pairing my smart phone and making it easy to surf media and the navigation system with natural voice commands. Elvis and I listened to a lot of Lithium 34 on XM.
