When that Alphagetti Gobbler commercial entered my mind, it was the first time I thought about that ad in about 25 years. An ad for a similar product, however, never really left my memory bank. Who could forget the Zoodles song?
Zoodles, like Alphagetti, was canned pasta that we kids loved. The Zoodles television commercials had a catchy jingle that's impossible to forget. Here are the lyrics.

As I recall, that song was sung by a narrator with the "I just had a hippopotamus for lunch" line being uttered by a kid chowing down on his delicious can of Libby's Zoodles.
In our house, Steve was the biggest canned pasta fan. It wouldn't surprise me to learn he's still going hunting with a bowl and spoon.
