If you told me I could have any food in the world for dinner tonight, I'd ask for a hot fresh pepperoni pizza. I love pizza and I've sampled a slice from many of Toronto's pizza vendors. With decades of pizza eating experience under my belt (quite literally), I'm ready to unveil my answer to the question, "What's Toronto's best pizza?"
Congratulations go out to Vesuvio Pizzeria & Spaghetti House at 3010 Dundas Street West. Vesuvio's makes an absolutely delicious pizza and once you've had a fresh slice of theirs it's difficult to go back to one of the franchises. This is my problem. I'll often order from Pizzaville or Pizza Pizza because they're a little cheaper. Lately I've been enjoying Vesuvio's pizza a little more frequently and it's making me hesitate come pizza time. Considering we only order a pizza every ten days or so, shouldn't I splurge and spend the extra couple of bucks to get Toronto's best pizza?
Life is short. If you live in Toronto's west end, try Vesuvio Pizzeria & Spaghetti House. It's the best slice in town...and no, they didn't buy this space nor do I own a slice of the business. I'm just a fan thinking about pizza on a rainy Wednesday morning.
