A website entitled Media Matters for Americans is sharing video clips from right wing commentators Ann Coulter on Fox News and Tucker Carlson on CNN in which they ridicule Canada. Watch the video or read the transcript.
I know these buffoons don't speak for America, but some of the ignorant garbage they're spewing on the US cable news networks is downright dispicable. My fear is that their audience will trust their opinions and assume "the average Canadian is busy dogsledding" and should be grateful they're "allowed to exist on the same continent of the United States of America".
Jon Stewart said it best when he asked Tucker Carlson and Paul Begala of CNN's Crossfire to "Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America...You have a responsibility to the public discourse, and you fail miserably". Coulter and Carlson contribute to networks that claim to have integrity providing "fair and balanced" news coverage. When you watch the video or read the transcript and see the bullshit they're spreading, you'll see they truly are hurting America, at Canada's expense.
