It's day five of the Summer Olympics and the most recognizable Canadian participant thus far is Ron Bensimhon. Bensimhon sported a blue tutu and jumped into the Olympic Aquatic Centre pool during the men's synchronized three-metre springboard event on Monday. He was arrested on charges of "interrupting the Games".
This is pathetic. Five days in and he's the best we've got. Sure, we won bronze in women's synchronized diving, but that's it. How is it that Australia, a country with a similar history and size, already has 14 medals including 6 gold? Our one bronze and one arrest doesn't rank.
