This morning they spliced Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" with Theory of a Deadman's "Make Up Your Mind" on CFNY Edge 102.
One listen to Theory of a Deadman and you'd think they were Nickelback Jr., a label previous given to Vancouver's Default. Theory Of A Deadman's self-titled debut was the flagship release for 604 Records, the new imprint/record label co-founded by Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. In fact, 60% of the album was co-written by Kroeger. The similarities are scary
Which is exactly what made the blend of Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" with Theory of a Deadman's "Make Up Your Mind" so perfect. You can't tell when one song ends and the other begins. The two songs merge into one seamlessly. I'm guessing "This Is How You Make Up Your Mind" would have been an unadulterated smash.
